The Best We-Weekend

Oh how I love Chicago...

Delicious deep-dish...

a fun little date on Navy Pier

Walking...walking...walking...

Of Course Wrigley, it's a must...
don't worry I can wear a cubby hat,
they are not in our division! Go rays!

Oh yum...
oh yes we did...
paint that town.

A day in the backyard...

It's a boy's world...

oh my.

Happy 26th Anniversary

To my mother and father,
Many people believe that what the two of you have is something that not many people will ever get to have. It is what I believe to be the true meaning of commitment, love and marriage. Thank you for the example that you have given us (and now have to try to live up to J). I hope that the next 26 years will be filled with as many cherished memories and happiness as the past 26 years.

Summer Luvin Having a Blast

We had a good summer...

playing with best friends...

boogie boarding at the beach...

cooling off with ice cream and ice skating

taking long walks in the rain...

and long naps on the couch!
How we will miss summer.
But can't wait for fall and winter.

Family Date Night

Family date night at the
Fun Center...

He is a typical boy.
Loves his "Gun Games"

and riding "big big wheels".

and more "Gun Games"

and the merry-go-round
that he informed me later
 was for babies.

and all his loot
from the 254 tickets we won.

Oven Baked Smores

We live in Florida.
 Our summers are
just too hot for a camp fire.
But, our tummy's,
just can't wait for campfire Smore's.
So I deiced to try Oven-made Smore's.
I like to put some peanut butter
 on the cracker too.

I put the broiler on low...
It's so hard for him to wait...
And then smush...
and
indulge to gooeyness.

Our Summer Vacation in the Key's

This summer we were lucky enough to go to the Keys.
Taylor's very first time.

This was our fabulous view.

This year,
the boys did exceptionally well with lobstering.

It's nice to have help cleaning them.

You can not-not go to Robbie's.

and see Justin try to amaze the crowd.

We went fishing off the sea wall.

and were all so proud of his fish.

OH yes, with help from daddy,
he caught a blue crab,
on a fishing pole.

We swam everyday.

and tried to use a mask,
but...
he did not want any help from mama.

We drove down to Key West.

and someone was really impressed with
Mallory Square.

We did not want to leave.
But until next year...
we can eat and dream about the fish and lobster.
